电选是利用矿物导电性的差别,在电晕电场中进行分选的一种选矿方法。本机为双鼓筒电选机,电极为复合电极,鼓筒、机架均与地线相连接,鼓筒表面与高压电极右保持一定的可调距离,此距离称为极距,当高压电源的负电通电至电极后,电极与鼓筒表面间产生电晕电场和静电场,入选矿物由转鼓带至高压电场后,由于电晕电极不断地放出电子,因此无论导体与非导体矿物均同时获得了负电荷,不同点是导休与非导体的电性质不等,导体矿料能很快地将所获电荷经鼓筒的产生的离心力及重力作用,沿鼓筒切线方向抛落在导体接矿斗中;非导体矿粒则不同,不能立即将所获电荷传走而鼓筒面产生镜面吸力,吸在鼓面并随之转动至后方,用毛刷刷下而落到后方非导体接矿斗中;介呼导体与非导体之间的中矿周日落到中矿斗中,成为中矿,以此实现分选,它是当前重要精选设备之一。
Electrostatic separation is a
kind of beneficiation method that makes use of the difference of minerals’
electrical conductivity for electrostatic separation in the corona field. This
machine is double-drum electrostatic separator. The electrode is combination
electrode. Drums and racks are all connected to the earth wires. The surface of
drum is kept at a certain adjustable distance from the high voltage electrode.
This distance is called polar distance. After the negative electricity of
high-voltage power supply is connected to the electrode, corona field and
electrostatic field are produced between the electrode and the surface of drum.
As the corona field releases electrons uninterruptedly after the selected
minerals are taken to the high-voltage electric field by the drum, both
conductor minerals and non-conductor minerals obtained negative charges. The
difference lies in that the electrical property of conductors and
non-conductors is not the same: Conductor minerals can very quickly throw the
gained electric charges in the ore receiving bucket along the direction of the
drum tangent through the action of centrifugal force and gravity produced by
the drum. However, non-conductor minerals are different. They can not
immediately divert the gained electric charges. The surface of the drum
produces surface suction. It is absorbed to the drum surface and then turns to
the rear. When they are brushed by the hairy brush, they fall into the
non-conductor ore receiving bucket in the rear. Middling ores whose
conductivity is between that of conductor and that of non-conductor fall into
the middling ore bucker and become middling ores so as to realize separation.
It is one of the important types of typical equipment at present.
适用于试验中白钨锡矿的分选,钽铌矿、锆英石,独居石、金红石的精选,及废旧金属与非金属物料的回收。
